Casting On

Craft Hope is partnering with the Red Scarf Project for their latest craftivism effort and I couldn't wait to get started on something. I am absolutely loving this pattern that I chose to use. It's a very simple pattern, but so far the results are quite nice. Can't wait to see it when it's done! If you're interested in joining in go check out the details at Craft Hope. Hey, thanks for the comment on my blog. I am planning on writing a comparison of the gocco & yudu for a blog all about the yudu. I will definitely link to it on my blog or even post it there as well. I have been thinking about doing this project as well. It's a fabulous idea!

Untitled, 10. Untitled, 11. frangipani, 12. Mussaenda #2 I usually lean towards a more subdued color palette of blue-grays and sagey greens. But presently, I find myself drawn to this candy-colored combination of pinks and yellows. It savors of a sweet happiness that pleases me way down deep. Pink and yellow. Yellow and pink. Such a lovely pair I think. :)

Progress knitting scarf, originally uploaded by hickety_pickety. Slowly making progress on the scarf. It's been a nice change of pace to use a pattern that allows me to knit while getting caught up on a little tele time.
